2. FIFA and Sports Labs Roles
FIFA PitchData is provided to FIFA by Sports Labs as a managed technology service. FIFA determines the operational purposes for which FIFA uses the platform within its pitch management and assessment programmes. Sports Labs determines and manages the technical means required to provide, secure, maintain, support, and develop the service, subject to the applicable agreement with FIFA.
Sports Labs is responsible for the technical operation, hosting, maintenance, administration, and support of the platform and processes information as necessary to provide those services. Access to the platform is restricted to authorized users and organizations approved for participation in the relevant FIFA programme.
The respective data protection roles of FIFA and Sports Labs may differ depending on the processing activity. Each party handles personal information in accordance with its responsibilities under applicable law and the contractual data protection arrangements governing the service. Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to amend, expand, or override those contractual arrangements.
For clarity, this Privacy Policy describes the handling of personal information only. It does not determine ownership of the FIFA PitchData service, the underlying ProPitch technology, software, source code, platform architecture, methodologies, know-how, databases, or other intellectual property, nor does it grant any licence or other rights in them. Those matters are governed exclusively by the applicable commercial agreements.
3. Account Provisioning and Information We Handle
FIFA PitchData – Consultant is an enterprise business-to-business (B2B) application and is not available for public registration. User accounts are provisioned to authorized individuals by
